The municipality mayor Jürgen Meyer had invited the county fire chief of all the participating counties and representatives of the VGH, police departments, representatives of the State Fire Association, representatives of the State Fire School in Celle and the government's fire chief for reception in the then City Hall. At this reception Meyer thanked the local militia for hosting this competition and was delighted that the Foreign firefighters that were not even traveled as part of an emergency rescue operation but because of a positive event in the Jeetzelstadt.
At the presentation ceremony the Chief of Police Frederick Niehörster thanked for their active participation in this competition. Niehörster thanked all the firefighters for their efforts during the flood: "I can not bow to their strong performances only," his words.
Deputy District Administrator Andrew Chocolowitz conveyed the greetings of the circle before the government Niehörster and Fire Chief Meyer honored the winners and the coveted power-slides and the wall plaque presented.
