After nine months of hard and tireless Arbeit können die Feuerwehren der Samtgemeinde Dannenberg auf einen Vorbildlich ausgerichteten Regionalentscheid zurückblicken. Fünf Arbeitsgruppen aus 18 Ortsfeuerwehren stellten das Personal für die Bereiche Platz, Wettbewerbe, Getränke, Verpflegung und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit. Bereits am Vorabend dieses Wettbewerbes heizte die 13 köpfige überregional bekannte Showband „TOP for TEA“ aus Lüneburg den ca. 1000 Besuchern gehörig ein. In und um das Festzelt herum waren überall tanzende Besucher zu sehen.
