this purpose we have organized under the patronage of Minister of Education and Culture Saar the First Days of Guitar for Child Saar 2009 that place a few weeks ago with extraordinary success, beyond even our expectations. The greatest challenge related to this event, however, lay in finding a repertoire of chamber music suitable for beginners and at the same time, high quality. It was therefore necessary to commission a work for this opportunity and we went to the Argentine composer Raul Maldonado, Paris. She had to meet certain criteria and as a result, we received "Cuento del Norte, in three movements for three voices plus an optional fourth voice. Other parts of the transcripts were optional for three voices, specially arranged.
The Second Days Guitar Kids Saar 2010 will take place between 7 and 10 April 2010, as part of this event and is due to the need of a good chamber music for small guitarists we intend to organize the International Competition Composition of Second Days of Guitar for Child Saar 2010.
CONDITIONS:
- There must be a free composition, for a set of guitars, three voices for children beyond the first degree of difficulty of learning the instrument. There may be more an optional fourth voice, suitable for students who are above or below the general level of the three other voices.
- all notes must be on the first position of the guitar, except the note "la" on the first string. The composition must not contain rhythmic complications.
- The composition should be between three (3) and six (6) minutes.
- The work must be original and unpublished It can not be plagiarized or be based on a composition protected. She can not have previously won a prize in any contest.
- Each composer can participate with only one composition.
- The composition must be signed with a pseudonym. It may not contain any evidence to recognize the true identity of the composer.
- The composition must be submitted on paper in quadruplicate, a sealed envelope without the sender's name, à l’adresse suivante:
