... but certainly one of the most important is the lack of time available for playing the instrument: just think of the hours that they claim the school. As a guitar teacher or professor, you must find a way for these students, despite the few technical resources they have, continue to make music and joy from being motivated to move forward. And it is chamber music, practice together, an extraordinary possibility that, without major technical difficulties satisfying musical results are obtained and sometimes even surprising.

The Second Conference Guitar for Children in 2010 Saarland will take place between March 31 and April 3 next year. As part of the same, and taking into account the need to find works very good guitar for children's group, is to be held on International Composition Competition of the Second Conference on Children's Guitar in 2010 Saarland.
CONDITIONS:
- This is a composition of freestyle guitar band, three voices, so children who have overcome the initial difficulties of learning the instrument. There may be also an optional fourth voice for pupils who are below or above the general level of the three remaining voices.
- All notes must be in the top of the guitar with the exception of the note "la" on the first string. The work should not rhythmic complications.
- The work must have a minimum of 3 and maximum of 6 minutes.
- The work must be original and unpublished. There shall be no plagiarism or based on a protected work, or have received an award in previous contests.
- Each composer may participate with one work.
- Membership to be sent under a pseudonym and shall not have any data to make known the real identity of the composer.
- The composition must be submitted on paper, in four copies in a sealed envelope and no return address, to:

- In addition to the work, the envelope must contain a second smaller envelope, unopened, with the following data from the composer's full name, postal address, phone number, photocopy of identity card or passport, a short curriculum vitae and a short letter in which the person concerned declares whether or not you agree that the work is used as a repertoire within "Guitar Workshop for Children in the Saarland" in the event that is not among the winning entries. In the front of the envelope must contain the user ID and an e-mail not disclosing the real identity of the contestant.
- The work must be mailed. The reception of the works closed on 30 December 2009.
- In a first selection chosen by the Jury tres composiciones y se comunicará por e-mail con los compositores correspondientes.
-- Las tres composiciones elegidas serán estudiadas por un grupo seleccionado de niños que las ejecutará frente al Jurado en el concierto público de cierre de las “Segundas Jornadas de Guitarra para Niños en el Saarland 2010”. En esa oportunidad se determinará el primero, segundo y tercer puesto. Recién entonces se procederá a la apertura de los sobres para averiguar la identidad de los ganadores y se dará a conocer quiénes son los ganadores.
-- El Jurado podrá declarar uno o más premios desiertos.
-- La composición que reciba el primer premio de 1.000 Euros será publicada por la Editorial Chanterelle Heidelberg (Germany). Composers who received the second and third prizes will be awarded the sum of 500 Euros and 300 Euros respectively.
- These three composers must agree that their works are used as code for "Guitar Workshop for Children in the Saarland. Other compositions participants may only be used for this purpose if the composers have previously stated their agreement. Otherwise they will be destroyed.
- No work participating in the contest will be returned.
- The work received the first prize will be presented later to the Editorial Chanterelle in software Finale or Sibelius.
- Winners will be required to mention every time you present the work-in writing or hearing-that it was awarded the "International Composition Contest of the second Guitar Workshop for Children at Saarland 2010"
- - The Jury's decision is final.
- Participation in the "International Composition Contest of the second Guitar Workshop for Children at Saarland 2010" means the acceptance of these Terms. Any circumstances not covered by the same shall be resolved by the jury without appeal.

The jury will be composed by renowned guitarist Roberto Aussel, Professor at the Musikhochschule in Cologne and director of guitar collections from the publisher Henry Lemoine in Paris, Mr Michael Macmeeken, Chanterelle editorial director of Heidelberg (Germany), and guitarist Inés Peragallo, director of the Children's Guitar Workshop in the Saarland.
